Are you interested in having a pool in your backyard that you can jump into any time you like? We have a range of pool styles to fit your property and suit your tastes. Whether you would like to swim laps or have space for children to play in the water, there is a backyard pool to suit your family.

Plunge Pool

A plunge pool is a perfect solution when only a small space is available. A plunge pool is a petite pool ranging from 2-4 metres long to 2-3 metres wide. They don’t take up much space, so they are great if you want a small pool for your children to play in.

Lap Pool

Our lap pools feature a long, narrow pool design. You can make your lap pool as long or as short as you prefer, depending on the size of your section. They fit nicely if you have a narrow backyard or even along the side of your home if there’s enough space.

The normal width of a lap pool is 1.8 – 2.5 metres wide. The length is more important, so you can swim far enough to get a good workout. Most swimmers consider 12 metres the minimum length of a lap pool.

Spa Pool

You don’t have to choose between a spa pool and a traditional concrete swimming pool style. Instead, have a spa pool attached to your main swimming pool. This will give you a place to unwind after a long day, and you can jump in after a swim to warm up before heading inside.

We design our spa concrete pools to seat six or more people so that you all have plenty of space to relax. Generally, the seats are placed at 500mm deep, and the spa’s depth is 1 metre. This is the ideal sitting height for most of our customers.

Infinity Pool

If you have a home with a view, don’t let it go to waste behind a new swimming pool fence. Choose an infinity edge pool where you can see over the edge of your property to the horizon. This won’t impede your view and provides a stunning swimming location.

Get in touch with our friendly team of swimming pool builders at The Pool Co. to discuss your ideal backyard pool. We also offer concrete pool construction, fibreglass pools and landscaping. We’ll work with you to determine which quality swimming pools would best suit your needs.
